Woodrun 401

This was our second time to stay at Woodrun and we were not disappointed. The unit was adequately furnished, very roomy, and location was perfect. Easy in/out for skiing and quick runs to the village. The unit had everything needed as well as nice upgrades in bathrooms. Property manager was very responsive when we had an issue with the washing machine and had it replaced immediately. It was very cold while we were staying and we enjoyed the cozy living room next to the fire. Definitely will stay here again.

Accomodation was so spacious and comfortable . Loved having the fireplace. It was a very relaxing experience.

We were in town for a memorial to our brother. This unit was spacious clean and spread out enough for everyone to spend time together , and had enough space for everyone to get some alone time to reflect .Thank you for sharing with us

This is our third time staying at Woodrun and first time in 401. Every time we visit the service is exceptional, the staff are very friendly and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble. 401 itself was perfect for our stay, it was large, comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. 10/10. A few constructive comments; the Honeywell floor heaters were on when we arrived (in summer) making the apartment quite warm, we had to figure out how to turn them off, some instructions would be helpful. Also, the bedroom curtains let quite a bit of light in at night so eye masks are advisable. We were extremely impressed with both the service and 401, it would be our first choice if we come back and highly recommend both Woodrun and the apartment to others. It was definitely a highlight of our trip.

This is quite a large unit, and nicely located next to the gondola and just up from the upper village. The walk back up the hill from the village will get your heart pumping, but with all the great restaurants so near, your body will appreciate the exercise. The staff at the lodge are very helpful and accommodating, and the free parking was very convenient. This is an older building, but the suite has been nicely updated. The green patio chairs are in need of replacing, but everything else was fine and we enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend.

Suite was massive, lots of space would stay their again

We have stayed at Woodrun a number of times. The suite is spacious, clean, and all amenities are easy to find. It is higher up in the Upper Village, so perhaps a bit quieter than some of the other options. We hope to stay again!

Unit 401 was really great. We only had 2 adults & 1 child because part of our group cancelled last minute. Unit will comfortably work for 4 adults and 2 - 3 children depending on ages. Staff at Woodrun was very friendly and helpful. Location was true ski-in/ski-out with a short walk around the pool and up to the slope.Walk to/from the village is doable, though walking back up the ski slope in the snow at night could be difficult for some. No fault of the resort, but the transit workers were on strike while we were there, so we had to make the walk a lot.Overall was a great stay. Would recommend and would stay there again.

We liked the place a lot. It's very close to the base of black comb mountain. A short 15-20 min walk to the Olympic village and shops. It was a typical condo style unit and furnished very well. My only suggestion is more paper towels for cleaning up. I'd also like to see more bath towels and garbage bags. We would stay again. My group enjoyed our time and the place was spacious. It slept all seven of us well.

We love the Woodrun -- its location is perfect. This unit is fabulous and it is nice and large. Our little guy loves the bunk bed; we love the separation between the master bedroom suite and the rest -- keeps things much calmer. Everything was perfect.

The suite was very nice. Had a pleasant trip with my family there. As i gave my parents, and sister and niece the queen beds in the rooms, i took the den hoping that the beds were comfy as they usually are. Unfortunately, i don't think the beds are made for anyone who isn't a child. I tried both beds, and ended up hurting my back and eventually sleeping on the couch as i found more comfort there. Thanks for lending us the place though!

Although this unit and this resort is not the most posh in Whistler, the service we got was superb and the place really very nice indeed! We look forward to our next trip there.
